I have always been passionate about refugee rights and moved to Australia in 2012 to complete my Masters focusing on Forced Migration at UNSW.
Since this I have had the opportunity to work throughout the forced migration process including in offshore detention; with asylum seekers living in the community, and then to my initial role at the Liverpool MRC working with newly arrived refugees through the complex case support program.
In my current role as the service team coordinator I oversee the complex case support program. It’s very rewarding being able to assist clients on their resettlement journeys and support them in times of need and to celebrate their successes. I love being part of the Liverpool MRC community, spending my days with inspiring colleagues and dedicated volunteers.
Outside of work I’m an aspiring yogi, enjoy bush walking and currently learning how to ferment my own kombucha!
