The Liverpool MRC has been lucky enough to have a dedicated team of students and interns who have contributed significantly to the organisation. We receive support across a wide range of programs at the Liverpool MRC including the homework support program, the Community Visitor Scheme, front desk support and employment mentors with Lead the Way.
Liverpool MRC is dedicated to supporting members of the CALD community develop skills to access employment. As such 22 new students and volunteers where trained over this year all from diverse cultural and logistically diverse backgrounds. The Liverpool MRC is proud to say that three of our dedicated front desk volunteers have found employment, including two within the Liverpool MRC service team.
Furthermore, Liverpool MRC placed two final year social work students on the 600-hour placement and one Master of Cultural Studies student. These students worked both in direct practice and also assisted in large research projects.
To all our students who have assisted over the past year the Liverpool MRC would like to extend a warm thank you for all of your commitment and hard work!
