Support for Groups

The Liverpool Migrant Resource Centre provides support to groups by providing access to meeting rooms and other facilities.

The two meeting rooms are spacious (can contain 25 people), sunny and serve many purposes. A foldable door dividing both rooms can be opened to create one larger room.

Criteria for using the meeting rooms are:

  • local migrant communities who have limited capacity or infrastructure
  • groups with activities that address issues of priority in the centre
  • groups that promote cultural maintenance
  • groups with significant numbers of new arrivals

Book an LMRC meeting room for a future group session, information session or group meeting. Meeting room rates vary depending on organisation status (please check the member section) but all fees are at an affordable price, which is based on cost recovery.

Please be advised that the use of the meeting rooms is in high demand by LRMC projects and Community Groups and that any new groups use of the rooms is subject to approval and availability.

To book a room or check on room availability dates, speak to the Front Desk or call us on 02 9601 3788.

Other facilities which are available at the Centre:

  • Multimedia & Electronic Equipment (overhead projector, video camera, laptop, data projector, PA equipment)
  • Phone, Photocopier, Scanner & Fax machine (cost recovery charges)
  • Computer Lab with 12 computers (subject to availability and approval)
