Management Structure
The centre is directed by a community-based Management Committee comprised of NESB local service providers, NESB people and other individuals. The committee is responsible for all the centre’s activities. It is also responsible for the general policy direction of the centre, including the yearly work plan; the financial management of the service; and the employment of staff.
The Centre Coordinator carries out the day-to-day running of the centre’s services and administration, and is responsible for implementing the policies and procedures as directed by the Management Committee
The Management Committee is comprised of 10 Centre members elected at the Annual General Meeting and 2 ex-officio members representing Federal and Local Government.
- 3 members elected from delegates of Category A (Ethnic organisations)
- 2 members elected from delegates of Category B (Community Organisations)
- 5 members elected from delegates of Category C (Individual)
